Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) CANISTER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the fuel tank.




2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge pipe (3), vapor pipe and vent pipe (6) from the EVAP canister (1).
3. Disconnect the EVAP canister (1) from the fuel tank.
4. Remove the EVAP canister (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the EVAP canister (1) on the retainer bracket, on the fuel tank.
2. Connect the EVAP vapor pipe, purge pipe (3) and vent pipe (6) to the EVAP canister (1).
3. Install the fuel tank.
