Air Temperature Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement.





2. Remove screws in order to separate the HVAC halves (1, 4).
3. Remove the air temperature actuator.
4. Remove the air temperature cam.
5. 5.Remove the air temperature door linkage.

6. Separate the HVAC module case halves (1, 4).
7. Remove the air temperature door (2).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the air temperature door (2) to the HVAC module.
2. Assemble the HVAC module case halves.
3. Install the air temperature door linkage.
4. Install the screws in order to assemble the HVAC module.
Tighten the screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the air temperature cam.
6. Install the screw to the air temperature actuator.
Tighten the screw to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).
7. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement.
