Radio Replacement



RADIO REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) trim panel.
2. Remove the left I/P trim panel.
3. Remove the center I/P trim panel.




4. Remove the fasteners securing the radio to the I/P.
5. Partially remove the radio from the I/P.
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
7. Disconnect the radio antenna coax cable.
8. Remove the radio.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the radio antenna coax cable.
2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Position the radio onto the I/P.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the fasteners securing the radio to the I/P.

Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

5. Remove the center I/P trim panel.
6. Remove the left I/P trim panel.
7. Remove the right I/P trim panel.
