Accelerator Controls Cable Bracket Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the accelerator and cruise cable from the bracket, if so equipped.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator.
3. Remove the 2 accelerator cable bracket attaching bolts (2) and the accelerator cable bracket (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the accelerator cable bracket (1).
2. Install the 2 attaching bolts (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator.
4. Install the accelerator and cruise cables, if so equipped.
