Floor Panel Heat Shield Replacement


Removal Procedure
1. Remove the exhaust manifold pipe, if necessary.
2. Remove the catalytic converter, if necessary.







3. Remove the exhaust front heat shield nuts.
4. Remove the exhaust front heat shield from the studs.







5. Remove the exhaust heat shield nuts.
6. Remove the exhaust heat shield from the studs.



Installation Procedure
1. Install the exhaust heat shield to the studs.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the exhaust heat shield nuts.
Tighten the nuts to 9 Nm (30 inch lbs.)

3. Install the exhaust front heat shield to the studs.







4. Install the exhaust front heat shield nuts.
Tighten the nuts to (9 Nm, 80 inch lbs.).

5. Install the catalytic converter. if necessary.
6. Install the exhaust manifold pipe, if necessary.
