Drain Cock Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Drain the cooling system.
3. Turn the drain cock counterclockwise until the metal pin on the drain cock is aligned with the opening slot.





4. Pull the drain cock straight out of the radiator.

Installation Procedure





1. Align the metal pin on the drain cock with the opening slot on the radiator.





2. Push the drain cock into the radiator slot.
3. Turn the drain cock clockwise until fully seated.
4. Fill the cooling system.
