Step Replacement (Frame Mounted)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the step bolts, nuts, and washers.
2. Remove the step from the support.
3. Remove the following components from the frame rail to support:

* The bolts
* The washers
* The nuts

4. Remove the supports from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the supports to the frame rail:

* The bolts
* The washers
* The nuts

Tighten the support to frame rail nuts to 165 Nm (122 lb ft).

2. Install the step to the supports:

* The bolts
* The nuts

Tighten the step to support nuts to 23 Nm (17 lb ft).
