Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Bracket

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove right exhaust pipe.
2. Remove bracket to the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve cooler tube bolts (2).




3. Remove the bolts (1) retaining the EGR bracket to the cylinder head. Remove the bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the EGR bracket and the bolts (1) to the cylinder head.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).




2. Install the bracket to the EGR valve cooler tube bolts.

Tighten
Tighten bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

3. Install right exhaust pipe.
