Pilot Bearing Replacement

- J34839 Pinion Bearing Remover
- J37764 Pilot Bearing Remover Adapter
- J23907 Clutch Pilot Bearing Remover
- J7079-2 Driver Handle
- J34848 Clutch Pilot Bearing Installer

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the manual transmission assembly from the vehicle.
2. Remove the pressure plate and the clutch disc from the flywheel.





3. Remove the clutch pilot bearing (1) from the crankshaft using the J37764, J34839 and the J23907
4. Inspect the clutch pilot bearing (1) for scoring, binding or rough operation.
5. Replace as necessary.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the clutch bearing into the crankshaft using the J34848 with the J7079-2.





2. Install the clutch disc and the pressure plate to the flywheel (1) .
3. Install the manual transmission assembly into the vehicle.
