EVAP Tank Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Replace

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses (1) from the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) tank pressure control valve (5).
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (6) from the EVAP tank pressure control valve.
3. Remove the mounting bracket nut (2) retaining the EVAP tank pressure control valve.
4. Remove the EVAP tank pressure control valve from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the EVAP tank pressure control valve (5) to the vehicle with the nut (2).

Tighten
Tighten the nut to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

2. Connect the electrical connector (6) to the EVAP tank pressure control valve.
3. Connect the 2 vacuum hoses (1) to the EVAP tank pressure control valve (5).
