Accelerator Controls Cable Bracket Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the accelerator and cruise cable from the bracket, if so equipped.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator.
3. Remove the 2 accelerator cable bracket affecting bolts (2) and the accelerator cable bracket (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the accelerator cable bracket (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the 2 attaching bolts (2).

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator.
4. Install the accelerator and cruise cables, ii so equipped.
