Heater Hose Replacement - Inlet

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
2. Release the heater inlet hose clamp at the heater core.
3. Remove the heater inlet hose from the heater core.




4. Release the heater inlet hose clamp at the engine water outlet adapter pipe.
5. Remove the heater inlet hose from the engine water outlet adapter pipe.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Apply lubricant (GM P/N 9985662) to each end of the heater inlet hose.

IMPORTANT: When installing new heater inlet hose, place the clamp on the hose before installing the hose to the vehicle.

2. Install the heater inlet hose to the vehicle.




3. Install the heater inlet hose to the engine water outlet adapter pipe.
4. Install the heater inlet hose clamp at the engine water outlet adapter pipe.




5. Install the heater inlet hose to the heater core.
6. Install the heater inlet hose clamp at the heater core.
7. Fill the Cooling System. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
