Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement- Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove 2/3 of the brake fluid from the master cylinder.

Notice: Support the brake caliper with heavy mechanic's wire, or equivalent, whenever it is separated from it's mount and the hydraulic flexible brake hose is still connected. 5. Remove the caliper mounting bracket from the steering knuckle assembly.
6. Inspect the caliper mounting bracket.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the caliper mounting bracket to the steering knuckle assembly.
2. Install the caliper.
3. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
4. Remove the safety stands.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Pump the brake pedal slowly and firmly in order to seat the brake pads.
