Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Crossover Pipe/Hose Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove shut-off outlet hose clamp at the crossover pipe.
2. Remove the Bank 2 manifold pipe.
3. Remove crossover pipe bracket fastener from cylinder head.
4. Remove crossover pipe.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install crossover pipe.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install crossover pipe bracket fastener to cylinder head.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

3. Install the Bank 2 manifold pipe.
4. Install the shut-off outlet hose clamp at the crossover pipe.
