Body Mount Replacement (Rear Support Assembly)
Removal Procedure
Important: Install lift straps, or place a jack at each end of the rear cab sill. If jacks are used, be sure to place blocks of wood between the jacks and the sill.
1. Disengage the wiring harness connector retainer from the rear of the upper cab mount.
2. Remove the support bracket to the mounting bracket bolts, washers, and nuts.
3. Raise the back of the cab slightly.
4. Remove the mounts.
5. Remove the four support brackets to the frame cross member nuts, washers, and bolts.
6. Remove the support bracket from the cross member.
7. Remove the two center screws and washers. Remove the four outboard screws and washers from the mounting bracket and the bottom of the cab.
8. Remove the mounting bracket from the bottom of the cab.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Important: Ensure that the word TOP on the mount is oriented properly.
1. Install the mounting bracket to the bottom of the cab.
Tighten the cab mount nuts to 40 Nm (30 lb ft).
2. Install the four outboard screws and washers to the mounting bracket and the bottom of the cab. Install the two center screws and washers.
3. Install the support bracket to the cross member.
4. Install the four support brackets to the frame cross member nuts, washers, and bolts.
5. Install the mounts.
6. Lower the back of the cab.
7. Install the support bracket to the mounting bracket bolts, washers, and nuts.
Tighten the bracket to cab mount bolts to 40 Nm (30 lb ft).
8. Engage the wiring harness connector retainer to the rear of the upper cab mount.
