HVAC Control Assembly Replacement (Heat Only)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the IP cluster bezel.
2. Remove the radio.
3. Remove the HVAC control assembly (1) by firmly depressing and holding the retaining tabs and then sliding the assembly away from the dash.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.




5. Disconnect the temperature cable (1) and mode cable (2) from the back of the HVAC control assembly (3).
6. Remove the HVAC control assembly (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the HVAC control assembly (3).
2. Connect the temperature cable (1) and mode cable (2) to the back of the HVAC control assembly (3).
3. Connect the electrical connectors.




4. Install the control head (1) to the I/P carrier until a snap is heard.
5. Install the radio.
6. Install the IP cluster bezel.
