Clutch Shaft Bearing Replacement

^ Tools Required
- J34011 Pilot Bearing Remover
- J33842 Pilot Bearing Installer
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the inner axle shaft and housing assembly. Refer to Inner Axle Housing Shaft and Housing Replacement.
2. Remove the clutch shaft from the carrier.





3. Remove the clutch shaft pilot bearing with J34011.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the clutch shaft pilot bearing using J33842. Lubricate the bearing with axle lubricant. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations.





2. Install the clutch shaft to the carrier.
3. Install the inner axle shaft and housing assembly. Refer to Inner Axle Housing Shaft and Housing Replacement.
