Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

Important: The vacuum check valve and the grommet may be inspected and serviced without removing the booster from the vehicle.





1. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose (2) from the vacuum check valve (1).





2. Pull the brake booster vacuum check valve (3) from the booster (5).

Installation Procedure





1. Push the new brake booster vacuum check valve (3) till it is fully seated in the grommet of the booster.





2. Connect the brake booster vacuum hose (2) at the vacuum check valve (1).
