Passenger/Cargo Van

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the Evaporative Emission ([1][2]EVAP) canister retainer (2).




3. Disconnect the vent hose (2) from the canister.




4. Disconnect the chassis [1][2]EVAP purge pipe (5) from the EVAP canister.
5. Disconnect the fuel tank [1][2]EVAP pipe (1) from the canister.
6. Remove the EVAP canister from the fuel tank shield.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the EVAP canister to the fuel tank shield.
2. Connect the fuel tank [1][2]EVAP pipe (1) to the canister.
3. Connect the chassis [1][2]EVAP purge pipe (5) to the EVAP canister.




4. Connect the vent hose (2) to the canister.




5. Install the EVAP canister retainer (2).
6. Lower the vehicle.
