Steering Column Support Bracket Inspection

Inspect the column support bracket. Damage in this area will be indicated by separation of the mounting capsules from the bracket. The bracket will have moved forward toward the engine compartment. This will usually be the result of the collapsing of the jacket or the midsection of the steering column.
