Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) Diode Replacement

Removal Procedure

The DRL module board is enclosed in a plastic case with and integral wiring harness.

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.




3. Disconnect the DRL diode module electrical connector.
4. Remove the DRL diode module screw and the DRL diode module from the instrument panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the DRL diode module on the instrument panel with the DRL diode module screw.
2. Connect the DRL diode module electrical connector.
3. Install the instrument panel cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
