Defroster Air Outlet Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement Service and Repair in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.




2. Remove the defroster duct inboard screws.
3. Remove the defroster duct outboard screws.
4. Remove the defroster duct.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the defroster duct.
2. Install the defroster duct inboard screws.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the defroster duct outboard screws.

* Tighten the inboard screws to 1 Nm (9 lb in).
* Tighten the outboard screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. Install the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement Service and Repair in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
