Brake Hose Replacement-Rear

Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle.





2. Disconnect the rear brake pipes from the junction block





3. Disconnect the pipe nut (9).
4. Remove the retainer (2).
5. Remove the bolt (5).
6. Remove the rear hose (4).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear hose (4).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolt (5).
- Tighten the bolt to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the retainer (2).
4. Connect the pipe nut (9).
- Tighten the pipe nut to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).





5. Loosely connect the rear brake pipes to the junction block.
- Tighten the rear brake pipe nuts to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Bleed the brake system.
