Shifter A/T: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the throttle body air inlet duct.
2. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable from the automatic transaxle range selector lever.





3. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector lever nut.
4. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector lever.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the automatic transaxle range selector lever.
2. Install the automatic transaxle range selector lever nut.
^ Tighten the automatic transaxle range selector lever nut to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions in Service Precautions.

3. Install the automatic transaxle range selector cable to the automatic transaxle range selector lever.
4. Adjust the automatic transaxle range selector cable if necessary.





5. Install the throttle body air inlet duct.
