Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT





1. Disable SIR system. Refer to System Description in Air Bags and Seat Belts.
2. Bolts from backside of steering wheel. Two bolts for Chevrolet and four bolts for Oldsmobile.
3. Inflatable restraint steering wheel module.





4. Electrical connections from inflatable restraint steering wheel module.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Electrical connections to inflatable restraint steering wheel module.





2. Inflatable restraint steering wheel module.





3. Bolts to inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
^ Tighten Bolts to 20 Nm (14 ft. lbs.).

4. Enable SIR system. Refer to System Description in Air Bags and Seat Belts.
