Installation Procedure

Description:

Tools Required
J 29843-9 Door Lock Striker and Seat Belt Torx(R) Wrench

1. Install the shoulder belt guide adjuster bracket (1) to the B-pillar (2).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Use the J 29843-9 in order to install the bolts (3) to the shoulder belt guide adjuster bracket (1).
Tighten
Tighten the front shoulder belt guide adjuster bracket bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb. ft).
3. Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim in Rear Quarters.
4. Install the nut securing the upper guide loop anchor nut.
Tighten
Tighten the front seat belt upper guide loop anchor nut to 29 N.m (21 lb. ft).
5. Snap the plastic cover to the shoulder belt guide.
