Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: The child seat tether attaches or anchors in two different ways. The tether strap attaches to the third row outboard lower seat belt anchor bracket or the third row seat rise depending on the seat configurations. Use the child seat tether strap only in the second row.

Description:

1. Unclip the tether strap spring clip from the anchor plate.
2. Remove the anchor plate bolt and the nut.
3. Remove the anchor plate from the bench seat frame.

Description:

4. Remove the tether strap from between the second row seat cushion and the seat back.
5. Remove the tether strap from underneath the head restraint if equipped.
6. Remove the tether strap from the vehicle.
