Removal

Description:

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System.
2. Remove the IP compartment and IP compartment lamp electrical connector. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
3. Remove the inflatable restraint IP module pigtail harness clips from the IP carrier bracket.
4. Remove the inflatable restraint IP module mounting fasteners (4) attaching the inflatable restraint IP module to the cross-car beam inflatable restraint IP module bracket.
5. Remove the inflatable restraint IP module fasteners (3) attaching the inflatable restraint IP module to the IP.
6. Remove the inflatable restraint IP module (6) from the vehicle.
