Vacuum Reservoir HVAC: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum tank (1).
3. Remove the two nuts (2) that secure the vacuum tank.
4. Remove the vacuum tank (3).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the vacuum tank (3).
2. Install the vacuum tank mounting nuts (2).

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Connect the vacuum hose (1) to the vacuum tank.
4. Lower the vehicle.
