Ash Tray: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the IP accessory trim plate.
2. Push up on the ashtray guide tension spring on both sides of the ashtray.
3. Push up on the metal housing center ashtray retaining tab.
4. Pull the ashtray out of the IP accessory trim plate.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6. Remove the ashtray from the IP accessory trim plate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the ashtray to the IP accessory trim plate.
2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Press the ashtray into the IP accessory trim plate.
4. Install the locking metal housing center ashtray retaining tab to the accessory trim plate.
5. Install the IP accessory trim plate.
