Test Description

Numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
1. Always perform the BCM diagnostic system check before attempting to diagnose this DTC.
2. Check the ability of the BCM to turn on the exterior lights.
3. Checks for a short to B+ in circuit 301.
4. Checks for a short to ground in circuit 301.
5. Checks for a faulty theft deterrent relay.
6. Determines whether the condition is intermittent and not related to a faulty BCM.
