Front Wiper Motor

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the front wiper motor electrical connector (4).
2. Remove the 4 mounting bolts (1) which secure the front wiper motor (3).
3. Pull the front wiper motor (3) away from the bulkhead.

IMPORTANT: Do not service the front wiper motor crank arm separately. Do not disconnect the front wiper motor crank arm from the front wiper motor. The crank arm is positioned on the wiper motor in order to allow the front wiper arms to return to their normal park position.




4. Gently pry the front wiper linkage (2) from the front wiper motor crank arm (1).
5. Remove the front wiper (3) motor from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the front wiper motor (3) to the vehicle
2. Connect the front wiper linkage (2) to the front wiper motor crank arm (1).




NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice In Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the front wiper motor (3) to the bulkhead. Secure the front wiper motor with 4 mounting bolts (1).

Tighten
Tighten the front wiper motor mounting bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

4. Connect the front wiper motor electrical connector (4).
