Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (Hose 1)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the radiator cap.
2. Start the engine.
3. Run the engine for 15 minutes.
4. Stop the engine.





5. Open the drain plug (3) on the radiator in order to drain the coolant.





6. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp (2) on the radiator outlet hose #1 (8) at the radiator.
7. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp on the radiator outlet hose #1 (8) at the radiator outlet pipe (2).
7. Remove the radiator outlet hose #1 (8).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Position a new hose clamp (1) on each end of the new radiator outlet hose #1 (8).
2. Install the new radiator outlet hose #1 (8) to the outlet pipe (2) and to the radiator.
3. Position the hose over the outlet pipe and radiator flares.
4. Secure the hose with the hose clamps (1).
5. Fill the radiator with an approved coolant.
