Dome Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Gently pry the dome lamp lens (2) from the dome lamp assembly (1) with a flat-bladed screwdriver.
2. Remove the dome lamp bulb from the dome lamp assembly, if necessary.
3. Remove the 2 screws which secure the dome lamp assembly.
4. Lower the dome lamp assembly (1) from the headlining.
5. Disconnect the dome lamp electrical connector.
6. Remove the dome lamp assembly (1) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Connect the dome lamp electrical connector.
2. Install the dome lamp assembly (1) to the headlining. Secure the dome lamp with the 2 screws.
3. Install the dome lamp bulb to the dome lamp assembly (1), if removed.
4. Install the dome lamp lens (2) to the dome lamp assembly (1).

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

5. Connect the negative battery cable.
