Daytime Running Lamp Resistor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
2. Remove the following components from the right front fender:
^ The 2 screws
^ The 6 plastic screws
^ The 1 push clip
^ The wheelhousing
3. Remove the 2 washer fluid reservoir screws.
4. Set aside the washer fluid reservoir.
5. Remove the 2 DRL resistor nuts (2).




6. Reposition the DRL resistor (3).
7. Disconnect the DRL electrical connector (2).
8. Remove the DRL resistor (3) from the vehicle.




INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the DRL resistor electrical connector (2).
2. Install the DRL resistor (3) to the vehicle. Secure the DRL resistor (3) with the 2 nuts.
3. Install the washer fluid reservoir. Secure the washer fluid reservoir with the 2 screws.
4. Install the wheelhouse to the to the right front fender with the following components:
^ The 2 screws
^ The 6 plastic screws
^ The 1 push clip
5. Lower the vehicle.
