Backing Plate: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the wheel cylinder.





2. Remove the parking brake cable (3) from the backing plate (1) by squeezing the parking brake cable stopper ring (2).
3. Remove the axle shaft.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the axle shaft.





2. Install the parking brake (3) to the backing plate (1).
3. Install the wheel cylinder.
