Wiper Arm Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Use only a water-soluble marker on the windshield.

1. Mark the wiper's park position on the windshield.
2. Remove the cover from the wiper arm assembly.
3. Remove the nut retaining the arm assembly to the pivot.
4. Remove the arm assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the wiper arm assembly to the vehicle.
2. Install the nut retaining the arm assembly to the pivot.

Tighten
Tighten the nut to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).

3. Install the wiper arm assembly cover.
