Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Remove the vent solenoid electrical connector.

3. Remove the vacuum hose.

4. Bend back the tang on the bracket.

5. Remove the vent solenoid.


Installation Procedure

1. Slide the vent solenoid onto the bracket.

2. Install the vacuum hose

3. Install the electrical connector.

4. Lower the vehicle.
