REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the headlamp switch is OFF and that the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.

1. Remove the screws that retain the license plate lamp to the license plate bracket.
2. Remove the license plate lamp from the license plate bracket.
3. Rotate the bulb and socket 1/4 turn counter-clockwise in order to remove the bulb and socket from the license plate lamp.
4. Remove the bulb from the socket.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
6. Remove the license plate lamp from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the license plate lamp to the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Install the bulb to the socket.
4. Rotate the bulb and socket 1/4 turn clockwise in order to install the bulb and socket from the license plate lamp.
5. Install the license plate lamp to the license plate bracket.
6. Install the screws that retain the license plate lamp to the license plate bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
