Water Pump Installation

1. Install the water pump gasket to the engine.





2. Install the water pump to the engine.
3. Apply sealant to the bolt threads, use GM P/N 12346004 or equivalent.





4. Install the water pump attaching bolts.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

^ Tighten the water pump attaching bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
