Intake Manifold Installation

1. Install the intake manifold gasket.
2. Install the intake manifold.





3. Install the intake manifold bolts.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions

^ Tighten the bolts in sequence to 24 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).





4. Install the EGR adapter to the cylinder head.
5. Install the EGR adapter to cylinder head bolts.
^ Tighten the EGR adapter bolts to 11 Nm (97 inch lbs.).





6. Install the EGR valve pipe assembly to the EGR adapter.
7. Install the EGR pipe bolt.
^ Tighten the EGR pipe bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).





8.Install the EGR valve pipe assembly to intake manifold bolts.
^ Tighten the EGR pipe to intake manifold bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





9. Install the throttle body to the intake manifold.
^ Tighten the throttle body to intake manifold bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
