Oil Pan: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the engine from the vehicle.
2. Install the engine on a suitable engine stand.
3. Remove the oil pan bolts.
4. Remove the oil pan. Use a putty knife in order to separate the oil pan from the engine block.
5. Remove the oil pan seal and sealer.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the oil pan.
2. Remove the engine from the engine stand.
3. Install the engine into the vehicle.
