Description of On-Board Diagnostics

The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) performs self-diagnostics of the ABS. The EBCM detects and isolates system failures. When a malfunction is detected, the EBCM sets a corresponding Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
