On-Vehicle Service

^ Tools Required:
- J 25034-B Power Steering Pump Pulley Remover
- J 25033-B Power Steering Pump Pulley Installer
- Or Equivalents

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

NOTE: Place a drain pan below the pump.

1. Air cleaner.
2. Upper fan shroud.
3. Drive belt.

Removing And Installing The Power Steering Pump Pulley:





4. Pulley.
- Install J 25034-B.
- Hold the nut. Turn the pilot bolt clockwise.
5. EVO actuator electrical connector.





6. Pump mounting nut and bolts.
7. Hoses from pump.
- Cap or plug to prevent fluid loss.
8. Pump.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Pump.
2. Uncap and attach hoses to rear of pump. Tighten to 27 Nm (20 lb ft).
3. Pump mounting nut and bolts.
^ Tighten
- Bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
- Nut to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
4. Pulley.
- Place the pulley on the end of the pump shaft.
- Install J 25033-b. Be sure the pilot bolt is bottomed in the shaft. Hold the pilot bolt.
- Turn the nut clockwise until pulley is seated.
5. EVO actuator electrical connector.
6. Drive Belt.
7. Upper fan shroud.
8. Air Cleaner.
- Fill and bleed the system.


INSPECT
Hoses for leaks and clearance.
