Retractor Assembly

Description:

1. Install the retractor to the vehicle.
2. Install the seat belt warning electrical connector.
3. Install the bolt retaining the shoulder belt to the guide adjuster bracket.
Tighten
Tighten the shoulder belt retaining bolt. Seat the bolt. Do not strip the bolt.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the bolt retaining the retractor to the pillar.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 53 N.m (39 lb. ft).
5. Install the front side door lock pillar garnish molding from the passenger side only. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
6. Install the body side front upper trim panel from the driver's side only. Refer to Body Side Front Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
7. Install the seat belt guide retaining bolt between the seat and the riser.
Tighten
Tighten the retaining bolt to 30 N.m (22 lb. ft).
