Remove or Disconnect
1. Lift the wiper arm until it locks into the vertical service-up position.

NOTICE: Use care when removing or installing a blade assembly. Inadvertent bumping can cause the arm to toggle back and strike the windshield.

2. Press down on the locking tab of the blade assembly pivot then pull downward on the blade assembly to disengage it from the hook of the wiper arm.

3. Insert from the blade assembly.
^ The insert has two notches at one end that are locked by the bottom claws of the blade assembly. At the notched end pull the insert from the blade assembly.

Install or Connect

IMPORTANT: Replacement Inserts have three plastic caps that retain the two metal flexor strips. Do not remove these caps before the insert is installed.

1. At end "A" of the blade assembly. slide the insert (notched end last) into the blade claws. The plastic caps will be forced off as the insert is fully inserted.
2. Be certain that the notches are locked by the bottom claws and that all other claws are properly engaged in the slots of the insert on both sides.
3. Position pivot of blade assembly into hook of the wiper arm and pull upward until the locking tab of the pivot engages the slot in the hook.
4. Carefully lower wiper arm and blade assembly onto the windshield.

Inspect Wiper Operation
^ Perform System Check.
