Rear Wiper Motor

Description:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Wiper arm assembly (8) from shaft (C).
2. Nut (14) and spacer (15) from shaft (C).
3. Interior panel from vehicle endgate.
4. Negative battery cable.
5. Electrical connector (17) from controller (18).
6. Two screws (1 9) and wiper motor (20) from vehicle.
7. Wiper motor harness (21) from controller (18).
B. Controller (18) from wiper motor (20).

Install or Connect
1. Controller (18) on wiper motor (20).
2. Wiper motor harness (21) to controller (18).
3. Wiper motor (20) on vehicle with two screws (19) while keeping shaft (C) centered in tailgate hole.

Tighten
^ Two screws (19) to 6.5 N.m (57 lb. in.).

4. Electrical connector (17) to controller (18).
5. Negative battery cable.
6. Interior panel to vehicle endgate.
7. Spacer (15) and nut (14) to vehicle.

Tighten
^ Tighten nut (14) to 6 N.m (53 lb. in.).

8. Wiper arm assembly (8) to vehicle.
