General Information

A transmission oil cooler and cooler line flushing must be performed when the transmission is removed from the vehicle for service or overhaul due to fluid contamination or pump and/or torque converter replacement. Flush the transmission cooling system after transmission installation will ensure that any contaminants remaining in the cooling system will not enter the transmission and reduce the operational efficiency and life of the transmission.
