Rear Bushing

Remove or Disconnect

^ Tools Required:
- J 21474-01 Control Arm, Bushing Service Set
- J 22269-01 Tie Rod End Installer
- J 21474-8 Lower Control Arm Bushing Remover
- J 21474-12 Rear Lower Control Arm Bushing Installer Spacer
- J 21474-13 Lower Control Arm Bushing Installer

1. Lower control arm. Refer to "Lower Control Arm Replacement."
- Place the lower control arm in a vise.
2. Rear bushing.





a. Install J 22269-01, J 21474-8, 12, 13.
b. Tighten until the rear bushing comes free.

Install or Connect

^ Tools Required:
- J 22269-01 Tie Rod End Installer
- J 21474-01 Control Arm Bushing Service Set
- J 21474-2 Lower Control Arm Bushing Remover
- J 21474-12 Rear Lower Control Arm Bushing Installer Spacer
- J 21474-13 Lower Control Arm Bushing Installer

1. Rear bushing into the lower control arm.





a. Install tools as shown. (Lip is on the outside of the control arm).
b. Tighten until the rear bushing seats fully into the lower control arm.
2. Remove the lower control arm from the vise.
3. Lower control arm to the vehicle. Refer to "Lower Control Arm Replacement."
