Ash Tray: Service and Repair

Description:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Ash tray.
3. Knee bolster.
4. Screws that retain the ash tray housing to the instrument panel.
5. Slide the ash tray housing forward.
6. Bulb from the ash tray housing.
A. Squeeze the metal tangs on the bulb shield and lift.
B. Lift the bulb from the socket.

Install or Connect
1. Bulb to the ash tray housing.
A. Insert the bulb into the socket.
B. Squeeze the tangs on the bulb shield and push it back into the housing.
2. Slide the ash tray housing back into the instrument panel.
3. Screws that retain the ash tray housing to the instrument panel.

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).

4. Knee bolster.
5. Ash tray.
6. Negative battery cable.
